Things I Like

Glassybaby Glassybaby

World’s most beautiful tea lights handmade in the U.S. by a very charity minded Seattle company.

Elsie Green Elsie Green

Whether it’s online, at their Concord, California, studio, or in their space at the Alameda Point Antiques Faire it’s one of my go to places for vintage, sustainable gifts for friends (and me!).

Fillmore Street Jazz Festival IMG_1931

We have an embarrassing wealth of music venues, but this is the largest free jazz festival on the west coast and one of my favorites.

Ferry Plaza Farmer’s Market, San FranciscoIMG_0425

We’re so lucky in the Bay Area to have countless farmers markets dotting the landscape, but this may be one of the largest, (smaller markets on Tuesdays and Thursdays), and is certainly one of the best.

Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence sisters of p.i. public photo

Founded in San Francisco in 1979, the Sisters have devoted themselves to community service, ministry, and outreach. They are glorious and never fail to make me smile when I see them on our streets!
